• Use games.
• Include activities in which students could move and manipulate objects.
• Rewardas: Invent checks and exchange them for something real.
• Flatter your students.
• Give them a break.
• Spend time with them.
• Assign a special work.
• Invite them to have lunch together.
• Let them be "Teacher for a day".

STRATEGIES

• Pair share: Students talk, correct themselves, work in pairs.
• Brick wall: Post a a paper beside the door as a space to stick on notes, questions, doubts, etc.
• 10 to 2: Explain10 minutes and 2 minutes students talk, correct themselves, explain each other in pairs.
• To catch attention: a) Count from 5 to 1. b) Turn lights on and off. c )Clap (invent a rhythm to be followed). d) Say aloud: "Raise your hand if you finished".
• Ask every class what was seen last class.
• Point at written words when pronouncing them.
• Use photos, visuals to introduce new vocabulary (lists of words are boring, it's better to write the word down and then to elaborate a picture as the meaning).
