STRATEGIES
- Pair share: Students
talk, correct themselves, work in pairs.
- Brick wall: Post a
a paper beside the door as a space to stick on notes, questions, doubts,
etc.
- 10 to 2: Explain10
minutes and 2 minutes students talk, correct themselves, explain each other
in pairs.
- To catch attention:
a) Count from 5 to 1. b) Turn lights on and off. c )Clap (invent a rhythm
to be followed). d) Say aloud: "Raise your hand if you finished".
- Ask every class what
was seen last class.
- Point at written words
when pronouncing them.
- Use photos, visuals
to introduce new vocabulary (lists of words are boring, it's better to write
the word down and then to elaborate a picture as the meaning).
