V-A-K Model
Learning styles
Dear peers, it is very important that you and your students know their learning styles. This model provides with three different categories:
V: Visual learner
A: Auditory learner
K: Kinesthetic learner
Visual learner: These students learn by seeing things, they need to see to understand. Sometimes you explain several times but, they do not understand because they need to see something to relate it to the content.
Strategies that could be useful for these students:
Auditory learner: Learning by listening.
Strategies that could be useful for these students:
Kinesthetic learner: Learning by doing and manipulating things.

Based on this model, teachers have the opportunity to design activities which involve every single student or, at least, most of them. Certain activity could be done by role playing, picture dictation or sing along. It allows us to involve the diversity and also to vary in our practicum.
